This past weekend at the UPA National Powerlifting Championships in Dubuque, IA was another triumph for the Jakked Hardcore Gym Powercorps. The slightly lower than usual turn-out was more than made up for by the success of all our members:

120-55-176 (All National Records) - Tim Filus - 275 Men's Open Raw
661-414-655 (All PRs) - Kim Baum - 1st place 165 Women's Tested Open Raw
341-146-339 (All National Records) - Sam Wilson - 1st place Men's Teen Raw
287-193-314 (All PRs) - Jennifer Gimmell - 1st place SHW Women's Open
518-270-402 (Squat and Dead National Records, Total Tied National Record) - Josh Lopez - Men's Teen Raw

In addition, at the USPA Texas State Championships in Austin, TX, Therese Janc won 1st place Women's Open, 1st place Women's Sub-Master, Women's Best Lifter, and set national records in all 3 lifts. Two other members lifted with her, David Wells with 501-369-523 and Crystal Boyd Wells with 180-121-303.
